Job summary

The role involves working with PLCs, SMT equipment, and vision systems, with focus on electrical/electronic/mechanical troubleshooting, and documentation of findings. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or Manufacturing.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PLCs and Allen-Bradley systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support automated production lines and manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.
• Assist with engineering projects and new product introductions.
• Install, modify, and maintain test equipment and automated systems.
• Support PLC-controlled equipment, vision systems, and manufacturing data systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and resolve equipment issues.
• Analyze product and equipment failures and document findings.
• Read and interpret schematics, BOMs, and technical documents.
• Maintain accurate technical records and manufacturing data.
• Provide technical support to production and engineering teams.
