Job summary

ArraTipp Co-operative in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, is seeking a Trainee Production Shift Manager to support the Production Manager.

You will contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing, help lead production operatives on shift rotations, and implement process improvements. You will work to uphold quality, health and safety standards, plan capacity for existing and future products, and help develop standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production role in a food processing environment is advantageous.
• Desirable qualification in food science or process/production management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Production Shift Manager in manufacturing products to high standards safely and cost-effectively.
• Lead production operatives on the shift rotation and communicate with senior management.
• Identify and implement process improvements with key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Plan capacity for current and future products and drive lean initiatives.
