Job summary

Breedon Group is looking for a Trainee Contracts Supervisor at Rossmore Quarry, Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. The role supports the manager in day-to-day surfacing operations and related works to ensure timely, safe project delivery.

The successful candidate will assist with planning, inspections, resource management, and coordination across subcontractors, while maintaining site safety and client relations.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn within the construction industry.
• Valid driving licence.
• Experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in using surveying equipment.
• Computer literacy with Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Ability to solve problems in a fast-moving site environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organising and managing the site to meet contract specifications.
• Assist with site inspections prior to laying material; determine quantities and place orders.
• Adhere to daily work schedules and ensure adequate resources are available.
• Coordinate site activities with project schedule and contractor work.
• Assist with service and maintenance of plant and equipment; ensure safe storage.
