Davies Group, Ireland's leading specialist supplier of Drainage & Civils solutions, is seeking a Trade Sales Advisor to join our Raheny team. You will provide expert advice to trade and commercial customers, build lasting relationships, and drive sales growth while delivering exceptional service.

You’ll source right products for projects, prepare quotations, process orders, and work towards agreed sales margins. A proactive, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in trade sales or merchanting

Davies Group, Ireland's leading specialist supplier of Drainage & Civils solutions, is looking for a customer-focused and commercially minded Trade Sales Advisor to join our team in Raheny, Dublin 5.

The Opportunity

This is a customer-facing sales role where you'll work closely with both retail and commercial customers, helping them source the right products and solutions for their projects.

You’ll become a trusted advisor to customers, build lasting relationships, and play a key role in driving sales growth while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing expert advice and support to trade and commercial customers
• Building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Identifying sales opportunities and recommending suitable solutions
• Preparing quotations and processing customer orders
• Working towards sales and margin targets
• Liaising with suppliers to source products and resolve queries
• Managing and developing key customer accounts
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent service levels
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, administration, and customer care

What We’re Looking For

• Drainage & Civils merchants
• Bathroom merchants
• Plumbing merchants

• Internal sales or trade counter sales

Ideal experience includes:

• Previous experience in a trade sales, merchanting, or customer-facing sales role
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
• A proven ability to achieve sales targets and grow customer accounts
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to sales
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

An Advantage (But Not Essential)

• Product knowledge of Drainage & Civils
• Experience managing contractor or commercial customer accounts
• Knowledge of construction, plumbing, or building materials
