Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a Middle Office, Associate 2 to supervise teams handling trade processing and confirmation. You will monitor file transmission, assist in OTC trade confirmations, and support settlement, pricing, and daily reconciliations across multiple regions. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

The role requires a degree in accounting, finance or business, and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies while meeting client deadlines.

• In-depth knowledge of Equity, Futures, Options, Fixed Income, FX and Derivatives (IRS, CDS, TRS, etc).

Responsibilities

• Monitor Trade File Processing: Ensure all trade files transmitted by the Fund daily on trade-date are processed by the team.
• Trade Confirmation and Trade Reporting: Monitor and assist in the confirmation of complex OTC trades across EMEA, US and APAC markets; resolve breaks promptly.
• Trade Exports/Settlement Instructions: Ensure transmission of trade details from the Fund; resolve and escalate export problems.
• Reconciliations: Oversee daily reconciliation breaks and escalate as needed.
• Pricing: Ensure daily pricing for portfolio securities from approved third party sources.
• Reporting to Ireland Office: Complete daily checklist and report issues to the client.
