Job summary

Rexel Ballymount is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our Ireland team. The role involves handling goods and products in the warehouse, loading and unloading deliveries, and supporting trade counter operations with excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include goods-in/out, preparing orders for collection or delivery, delivering goods, and maintaining a safe, organised warehouse in line with Health & Safety procedures.

Job Description

Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling goods and products within the warehouse, including loading and unloading deliveries. The role will also involve supporting trade counter operations and providing excellent customer service.

• General warehouse duties, including goods-in and goods-out processes.
• Loading, unloading and storing products safely and efficiently.
• Preparing customer orders for collection and delivery.
• Delivering goods as required.
• Serving customers at the trade counter and providing product support.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
• Complying with Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Electrical wholesale experience and/or electrical product knowledge would be advantageous.
• Experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Previous customer service experience is desirable.

Technical / Functional skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate good organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have good attention to detail, be very organised and a multitasker.
• Computer literate with a good working knowledge of standard business systems.
• A full Irish driving licence.
• Valid forklift licence.
