Job summary

TJ O' Mahony in Castlemungret Industrial Estate, Mungret, Limerick, is seeking a Permanent Trade Counter Sales Person to join our team. You will provide product knowledge of building materials, plumbing products and power tools, and deliver excellent customer service at the counter and on the phone.

Requirements include experience in product merchandising, strong communication and computer skills, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in product merchandising.
• Maintain professional merchandising standards, including correct labelling, pricing and product placements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills.
• Motivated with ability to work on own initiative.
• Friendly, helpful attitude.
• Experience in Sales, both Trade and Retail an advantage.

Job Purpose

To provide product knowledge of building materials, plumbing products and power tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Suppliers
• Provide excellent customer service, dealing with customer phone and/or counter queries
• Preparing quotations
• Use of the In-House IT Software System
• Carrying out any additional duties as required to meet business requirements
• Handling customer collections
• Ensuring customers are serviced in an efficient and timely manner
