Job summary

Noel Group in Ballymount South Dublin is seeking a trade counter assistant and warehouse operative for full-time work. The role combines customer service at the trade counter with hands-on warehouse duties, including stock handling and order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, good attention to detail, strong teamwork, and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Training on stock systems and RF scanning will be provided where needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting customers at the trade counter, providing product information and processing sales orders.
• Handling cash and card transactions accurately while delivering excellent customer service.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer and trade orders for collection and delivery.
• Receiving, checking, and storing stock in the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely using appropriate manual handling techniques.
• Maintaining stock levels and replenishing shelves to ensure product availability.
• Conducting regular stock checks and assisting with inventory control procedures.
• Ensuring the warehouse and trade counter areas were clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Working closely with suppliers, drivers, and colleagues to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
• Operating warehouse equipment and followed company safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
