Job summary

First Bus in Dublin is seeking a Customer Service Agent to be the first point of contact for passengers, assisting with ticket purchases and providing route information to ensure a welcoming travel experience.

The role requires strong communication, comfort with ticketing systems, and a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends. 40 hours per week, starting at €15.54 per hour with a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or a sales-focused role (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with technology and ticketing systems.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage queues effectively.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A friendly, approachable, and helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets to customers using ticket machines.
• Provide accurate travel and schedule information to passengers and the public.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Assist passengers with boarding and general enquiries.
• Keep the ticket area clean and presentable.
• Support daily operations and work with the wider team.
