Job summary

Momentum Capital Projects Ltd in Dublin is seeking qualified and experienced bus/coach drivers for a full-time, permanent role based in Dublin City. Salary €36,605 per year (€18.05 per hour) for a 39-hour week, with a company pension and other allowances.

You will drive the company's vehicles on luxury coach services across Dublin, maintain safety standards, manage tickets, assist passengers, and provide friendly, professional service as the face of the company.

Qualifications

• Drivers with a valid D licence and CPC/Code 95 preferred.
• Experience driving bus/coach is preferred.
• English language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to high safety and professional standards.
• Follow fixed routes and timetables, and ensure on-time performance.
• Check tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel levels before journeys.
• Ticketing and customer service duties during trips.
• Maintain journey records and assist with luggage as needed.

Our team of Drivers provide transportation services throughout Dublin using top luxury coaches. Our Client is one of Ireland’s biggest bus transport companies and due to the rapid growth, we are looking for Coach Drivers to join their organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• To drive the company's vehicles to the highest of standards, making sure driving is performed in a safe and professional manner.
• Drives over pre-determined route, complying with traffic regulations and keeping to time schedule.
• Checks tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel levels and general condition of the vehicle before start of journey.
• Driving in-line with a set timetable.
• Use of ticket machines and issuing tickets to customers.
• Always providing a high standard of customer service.
• Providing customers with information when required.
• Behaving in a professional but friendly way to customers at all times.
• Assisting elderly / children when required.
• Being the face of the company.
• Maintains records of journey times, mileage and hours worked.
• May assist with loading and unloading of luggage.
