Job summary

Intel Corporation in Leixlip, Ireland, is seeking a Metrology Tool Owner to lead technical ownership and optimization of critical measurement equipment in Thin Film Metrology within a cross-functional team.

You will analyze performance, drive corrective actions to reduce variation, and collaborate with Integration and vendors to develop metrology recipes for new layers, while guiding tool improvement initiatives and ensuring inline visibility to potential issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 8 NFQ degree in Science or Engineering (Bachelor, Master or PhD).
• 4+ years in an equipment engineering environment or similar industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on equipment troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to work autonomously with ownership and comfort with ambiguity.
• Strong data analysis capabilities including data extraction, validation, statistics and visualization (e.g., JMP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex technical information.
• Strong teamwork skills and experience in cross-functional and multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment and process performance using data-driven methods to identify trends and drive corrective actions to reduce variation.
• Continuously improve tool performance and optimize recipes through sustaining and innovation activities.
• Work with Integration and vendors to develop metrology recipes for new layers and improve inline visibility to potential EOL issues.
• Lead equipment improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams to enhance operational performance.
• Identify innovative solutions to equipment challenges and influence stakeholders to drive change.
