Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying (third level).
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage tender bid from receipt of tender enquiry to submission of final bid.
• Undertake careful inspection of tender documents including bills of quantities, specifications, contract etc.
• Work closely with the Estimating Team in preparing tender enquiries for issue to the market.
• Work within the agreed procurement strategy.
• Collate quotes for comparison and inclusion in the priced tender.
• Conduct risk identification, value management and cost control.
• Meet with key stakeholders and subcontractors during the tender period.
• Develop standard prelim allowances for inclusion in the priced tender.
• Prepare budgets and cost plans for priced tenders.
• Present the priced tender to the Pre-Construction Director at adjudication stage.
