Job summary
Careeriser-Limited in Dublin is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead tender estimating, drive competitive cost plans, and shape commercial strategy across major Irish construction projects. You will manage supplier and subcontractor engagement and ensure smooth handover of winning estimates to delivery teams.
The role requires a minimum of 10+ years in Quantity Surveying, a degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics, and experience with Main Contractors on Irish projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years experience of Quantity Surveying.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics.
- Experience on Irish construction projects with a Main Contractor.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of timely, detailed, and accurate cost estimates for competitive tender bids.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors during the tender process to secure robust, competitive package pricing.
- Ensure a seamless transition of winning estimates and commercial assumptions to the operational project delivery teams.
- Analyze macroeconomic conditions and market trends to shape winning bid strategies.
- Mentor, coach, and support the career development of junior and mid-level estimators within the department.
