Excel Recruitment is seeking a capable Catering Assistant for Newcastle West, Republic of Ireland, on a temporary basis. The role supports catering operations across the Newcastle West region, focusing on customer service, cash handling, and maintaining service areas.

Candidates should have previous catering or food-service experience, be comfortable using tills, and hold HACCP/Manual Handling certificates (training may be provided).

Formación

• Experience in catering or food-service environment.
• Confident using tills and handling customers.
• Barista or coffee-making experience is a plus.
• HACCP and Manual Handling certificates required (training provided).
• Reliable, punctual and well-presented.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tills and process customer payments accurately.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to customers.
• Prepare, set up, and maintain service and dining areas.
• Keep equipment and workspaces clean and hygienic.
• Follow food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Take ownership of assigned duties to ensure service runs smoothly.
