Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to drive the design, acquisition and deployment of WAN, wireless, voice and data circuits across its Fulfillment Network. You will coordinate with customers, vendors and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable infrastructure programs.

You will manage cross-functional programs, track milestones, mitigate risks and ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional projects and large programs.
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking.
• Experience across teams and influencing teams that are not your own.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Experience in project/program management.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interface for the lifecycle (Order, budget and tracking) of wireless, voice and data circuits.
• Obtain circuit quotes based on validated customer requirements.
• Define infrastructure requirements and dependencies for mature technical products.
• Ensure circuit sizing, installation, and augmentation meet Amazon policies and guidelines.
• Manage projects, identify risks, and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Ask technical questions to ensure appropriate trade-offs are made when delivering infrastructure builds.
• Make trade-offs: time vs. scope vs. cost; clear blockers and risk mitigation strategies.
• Adapt infrastructure builds to varying scenarios.
• Work across teams; influence customers and roadmap priorities.
• Facilitate conflict resolution through the full project cycle across locations.
• Generate and deliver consolidated status reports for IT leadership and stakeholders.
• Multiple team goals and program-related metrics, impacting a region.
• Attend vendor quarterly business reviews across the EU.
• Improve project and process efficiency.
• Optimize cross-team processes to improve efficiency and delivery.
