Job description

Technology Project Manager | 12-Month Rolling Contract | Biopharma | €1bn+ Manufacturing Expansion | Dublin

Lead the delivery of automation, digital and technology projects on one of Europe's most significant biopharmaceutical investments.

I'm partnering with a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturer undertaking a landmark €1 billion+ capital programme in Dublin. This state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is scheduled for completion in early 2030 and will become one of the most advanced biopharmaceutical production sites globally.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Technology Project Manager to take ownership of the full project delivery lifecycle across automation, digital technologies and associated engineering workstreams, helping establish a new benchmark for manufacturing excellence.

Following construction and start-up activities, there will also be the opportunity to remain onsite and play a key role in a major digital transformation programme.

Having already supported the client in securing several high-calibre professionals, including Automation Leads, Senior CSV Engineers and Project Managers, I've received exceptional feedback on both the project structure and the calibre of technology being deployed across the site.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of automation, IT and digital technology projects from concept through to execution.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple Automation Leads across the project.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, risk and stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive collaboration between engineering, quality, operations and construction teams.
  • Manage relationships with system integrators, OEMs and technology vendors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing medium to large multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong background within automation, CSV, CQV and capital project delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing vendors, contractors and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working within pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments is essential.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal.
What's on Offer?
  • 12-month rolling contract.
  • Opportunity to join a flagship biopharmaceutical investment programme.
  • Long-term project visibility through to 2030.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge manufacturing and digital technologies.
  • Potential to support a large-scale digital transformation programme following project completion.
