The Role

Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers and customers, you will manage multiple automation projects from concept through to completion.

  • Managing project budgets, resources, risks and engineering changes
  • Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation plans
  • Overseeing FAT, SAT, commissioning and final handover activities
  • Maintaining project documentation, reporting and RAID logs
  • Supporting validation documentation for regulated/pharmaceutical projects where required
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards

  • Strong commercial awareness, including budget, programme and resource management
  • Experience working directly with customers and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Working knowledge of industrial automation technologies such as PLC, SCADA, HMI and robotics
  • Strong project planning and organisational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project-management software
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities

Experience within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments, including familiarity with FAT, SAT, FDS, HDS, IQ/OQ and cGMP requirements, would also be highly regarded.
