Job summary

Primark is seeking a Technology Finance Administrator to support cost management for the Technology function. You will manage PO requisitions, cost centres, and project codes, and oversee cost tracking in SoftCo with accruals and period-end activities.

The role emphasizes accuracy, stakeholder communication and continuous process improvement. We value 1–2 years in admin/finance/procurement, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in administrative, finance, procurement or vendor management.
• High accuracy and attention to detail with data analysis capability.
• Effective written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration across teams.
• Advanced IT proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP/financial systems such as Oracle or SoftCo.

• Support maintenance and improvement of Technology cost management processes.
• Manage Technology PO requisition process, cost centres and project codes.
• Oversee cost tracking in SoftCo, including accruals and period-end processes.
• Review reports, close unused POs and resolve invoicing issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, manage cost management mailbox and collaborate with Finance and Procurement.
• Support vendor onboarding (Zip) and training, identify process improvements.

What Youll Do As a Technology Finance Administrator

• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Technology cost management processes and ways of working (WoW).
• Manage and maintain the Technology PO requisition process, including documentation, cost centres, and project codes.
• Oversee cost tracking activities in SoftCo, including PO creation, accruals, ageing items, and period-end processes.
• Ensure accurate PO management by working with teams to review reports, close fully utilised POs, and resolve invoicing issues.
• Act as a key contact for stakeholders, coordinating communication, managing the cost management mailbox, and collaborating with Finance and Procurement.
• Support vendor onboarding (via Zip), training initiatives, and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.

What Youll Bring

• Demonstrates 1-2 years of experience in administrative, finance, procurement, or vendor management roles, with strong analytical capabilities to identify trends, variances, and issues in financial data.
• Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with confidence in handling and analyzing large datasets.
• Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing, building strong stakeholder relationships and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, acting as a proactive and professional team player with the confidence to appropriately challenge stakeholders when needed.
• Possesses advanced IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of ERP or financial systems such as Oracle or SoftCo considered advantageous.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on process improvement, prioritization, and driving operational efficiency in fast-paced environments.
