Job summary

Arcadis are seeking two Senior Technical Writers for a Medical Device assignment located in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This is a hybrid role, 6-month contract.

Responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts to draft, edit, and validate content, translating complex information into clear procedures and forms, and ensuring compliance with good documentation practices throughout drafting, review, and release.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Engineering, Information Systems, Life Sciences, Technical Communication, Languages, or a related discipline.
• Excellent technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including styles, templates, tables, numbering, and document formatting.
• Experience creating controlled documentation in a regulated industry and applying good documentation practices.
• Strong communication, active listening, interviewing, and clarification skills, with excellent attention to detail and strong planning and organisation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement of documentation templates and authoring processes while contributing effectively to the wider team.
