Your role and responsibilities

This is a 6- or 9-month placement opportunity designed for students completing a placement year as part of their degree.

• Start date: January 2027
• Duration: 6 or 9 months
• Working model: Hybrid

As part of our hybrid working model, you'll be expected to work from our Mulhuddart Campus three days per week, with flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days in line with team requirements.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Foundational knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, gained through academic coursework, projects, or personal learning.
• Exposure to relational database concepts and technologies such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or similar database platforms.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or related cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with, or an understanding of, at least one scripting or programming language, such as Bash, Python, Perl, or similar.
• Awareness of networking fundamentals, including exposure to network management tools and basic troubleshooting concepts.
• An interest in cloud and platform technologies, with exposure to Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or similar platforms considered an advantage.
