Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Galway, Ireland, offers a university internship in a hybrid setup requiring about two days per week office presence. Qualifications

• Enrolled in a University during the internship and eligibility to work in Ireland in full-time during the internship
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related technology
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with AI libraries
• Practical knowledge of generative AI / LLMs and RAG architectures
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure services (compute, storage, networking) on AWS, Azure or GCP
• Understanding of microservices design, RESTful APIs and version control (Git)
• Work in a Hybrid environment with at least 2-3 days in the office per week

Responsibilities

• Design, build and iterate on AI agents and workflows using frameworks like LangChain
• Develop end-to-end generative AI (LLM) applications
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems: data ingestion, embedding generation, vector stores and retrievers
• Containerize Python-based AI services with Docker and deploy to Kubernetes clusters
• Integrate microservices patterns and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies – standups, sprint planning, code reviews – and demo prototypes to stakeholders

What You'll Do
