Job summary

Securitas Technology Ireland is seeking a Technical Security Design Consultant to lead and coordinate security design projects across the EMEA region. You will work with clients, internal teams and technical stakeholders to ensure design criteria and standards are met.

In this role you will manage project documentation, provide risk assessments, and support tender-related activities while contributing to client-facing consultancy engagements. A proactive and collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience with IP video and access-controlled enterprise security systems.
• Experience in security systems design and telecommunications.
• Strong knowledge of CAD and Bluebeam, with an understanding of BIM.
• Experience with Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, Software House, Milestone and Avigilon.
• Knowledge of EN and BS security design and installation standards.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced security design professional looking to work on complex technical security projects across the EMEA region?

We're looking for a Technical Security Design Consultant to join our team and play a key role in the design, coordination and delivery of security solutions. You'll work alongside internal teams, clients and technical stakeholders to help deliver high-quality consultancy services, ensuring projects meet client requirements, industry standards and established design criteria.

About the Role

As a Technical Security Design Consultant, you'll support the delivery of security design projects from conception through to handover. Working closely with the Technical Design Lead and a range of stakeholders, you'll help manage project documentation, coordinate design activities, support risk assessment processes and contribute to client-facing consultancy engagements across the EMEA region.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the delivery of technical security design projects across the EMEA region.
• Coordinating drawing revisions, design updates and project documentation.
• Facilitating project design handovers and supporting design governance activities.
• Producing technical reports, design studies, cost analyses and tender-related documentation.
• Leading and participating in client workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Assessing security risks and supporting the development of mitigation recommendations.
• Communicating technical design information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
