Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions, part of the Fluor Group, is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Energy Storage Systems to own the technical development, performance and compliance of our energy storage range. The role focuses on safer, more reliable, efficient and cost-effective products while exploring new technologies for expansion.

You will evaluate battery cells, BMS, power electronics and enclosure solutions, ensuring certifications, documentation and technical justifications are in place.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in battery energy storage, power electronics or related field.
• Strong ability to interpret datasheets, test reports and certification documentation.
• Experience with supplier evaluation, due diligence and technical change control.
• Structured, analytical approach with ownership of technical decisions from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of the energy storage product range and maintain a development roadmap.
• Identify and implement improvements in performance, reliability, safety, efficiency and cost.
• Lead engineering changes from assessment through prototype, validation and production release.
• Coordinate testing, certification and supplier assessments with external bodies.
• Develop technical specifications, acceptance criteria and approved component lists.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues and drive continuous product improvement.
