Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking an experienced Development Lead with payments domain expertise to drive design, development and delivery of large-scale payment solutions using ICON IPF in cloud-based architectures.

You will provide technical leadership to engineering teams while remaining hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, collaborating closely with banking clients and internal stakeholders in an Agile Scrum setting.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience implementing ICON IPF or a payments framework in a banking setting.
Strong Java development skills (Java 17+).
Expertise with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Proven technical leadership within software teams.
Experience with Kafka and asynchronous messaging patterns.
Background working with major banking/financial services clients.
Familiarity with Reactive Java or Akka.
Experience with production support and release management.
Experience delivering solutions through deployment, go-live and hypercare.
Experience in complex enterprise payment environments.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and implementation of large-scale payment solutions.
Provide technical leadership across development teams while remaining hands-on.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps and stakeholders in Agile Scrum.
Ensure delivery excellence and governance across cloud-based architectures.
