Job summary

Acuity Inc. seeks a Technical Lead Software Engineer to lead a local development team and work with a distributed organization. This role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership, delivering scalable SaaS solutions integrated with IoT devices in a secure, cloud-native environment.

You will shape the future of smart buildings by architecting solutions on Facilities—the cloud and edge platform powering Organize, Operate and Optimize modules for real-time insights and peak performance.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in C# and .NET (Core/6+).
Hands-on with modern cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) including services for compute, storage, IoT and IaC.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Track record designing scalable, multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
Demonstrated technical leadership (tech lead, team lead).
Experience with frontend engineering using TypeScript and React.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a local team of developers, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with global engineering standards.
Act as the technical reference for architecture decisions, design reviews, and best practices.
Design and develop cloud-based SaaS applications emphasizing scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms (telemetry ingestion, device management, OTA updates).
Champion CI/CD and DevOps practices to optimize delivery pipelines and reduce lead time to production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to deliver high-quality solutions.
Contribute to technology roadmaps and drive continuous improvement.
