Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Commerce Platform team in Ireland. You’ll design and optimize cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to support scalable, secure commerce applications and services.

You will collaborate with software engineers, QA, security, and product teams to raise operational maturity and delivery reliability across cloud-native platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-6+ years in software development, DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or cloud infra roles.
• Proven experience designing, maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Strong hands-on with major cloud providers, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Solid Python scripting and automation tooling skills.
• Strong Linux knowledge and modern software development workflows.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, Kyverno and related tools.
• Hands-on with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, Bicep.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for AI-driven applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, environment mgmt, deployment workflows using IaC and DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to deliver secure, reliable software.
• Promote DevOps, platform engineering, automation, and security best practices across teams.
• Build and improve CI/CD standards using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
• Support containerized workloads with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize.
