Datadog is seeking a Technical Escalation Engineer to tackle the most challenging technical problems at scale. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Product, and customers to refine the platform and elevate the customer experience.

You will become the go-to expert on Database Monitoring, working across cloud-hosted and self-hosted environments, while mentoring teams and shaping product direction in a fast-paced, hybrid workplace.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for learning.
• Experience mentoring teams and elevating technical standards.
• Background in observability, security, or related platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep technical expertise and continuously learn as the product evolves.
• Investigate complex escalations and lead high-stakes technical calls with urgency.
• Mentor the Global Support Engineering team to handle challenges.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to identify gaps and drive improvements.
• Become the go-to expert on Database Monitoring and related integrations.
