Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to support a major Windows upgrade and technology transformation. You will lead OS upgrade initiatives, design server hardening via Group Policy, and support collaboration technology across large environments.

The right candidate will combine infrastructure architecture expertise with strong AD, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 knowledge, while guiding testing, deployment and transition-to-service activities and maintaining governance

Qualifications

• Strong experience with server hardening and Group Policy implementation.
• Experience troubleshooting issues relating to Windows upgrades, security policies, and infrastructure changes.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience working in large, complex technology environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Experience working with Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Experience supporting collaboration and workplace technology initiatives.
• Exposure to enterprise transformation or modern workplace programmes.
• Experience working within regulated or highly governed environments.

This role will play a key part in delivering operating system and platform upgrades, implementing security hardening standards, and supporting collaboration technology initiatives.
