Job summary

Coopman Search and Selection are representing an aviation consulting firm seeking a Technical Analyst to join their team in Dublin. You will support analysis and management of aircraft technical, maintenance and lease-related data, working with experienced aviation professionals and leading lessors.

The role focuses on data quality, large dataset analysis, and client reporting, with opportunities to contribute to maintenance reviews and data migration projects within a fast-paced advisory

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant qualification in Aviation, Aircraft Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and manage aircraft technical and maintenance data across client portfolios.
• Review maintenance information, utilisation data and lease-related documentation.
• Support maintenance reserve reviews and calculations.
• Analyse large datasets, identifying discrepancies and resolving data issues.
• Maintain accurate aircraft, engine and component information.
• Support aircraft lease management, transitions and data migration projects.
• Prepare client reports and technical analysis.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to obtain and validate technical information; and
• Support wider projects and initiatives across the Aviation Advisory team.

Working alongside experienced aviation professionals and leading aircraft lessors, the successful candidate will support the analysis and management of aircraft technical, maintenance and lease-related data.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and manage aircraft technical and maintenance data across client portfolios;
• Review maintenance information, utilisation data and lease-related documentation;

Core Competencies

• Degree or relevant qualification in Aviation, Aircraft Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, Engineering, Business or a related discipline;
• Experience within aviation, aircraft leasing, MRO or airline operations would be advantageous;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail;
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets;
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance, technical records or aircraft leasing would be beneficial;
• Excellent communication and organisational skills;
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, client-focused environment; and
• A genuine interest in developing a career within aircraft leasing.
