Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland's Aviation Advisory team in Dublin has an opening for an entry-level Technical Analyst. You will join a growing, highly skilled group handling lease management, data migration, and technical aircraft expertise for clients in the aviation sector.

Responsibilities include fleet records data management, asset review system control, and maintaining the fleet's technical specifications and reporting. A degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Aviation Technology is required.

Qualifications

  • Aeronautical Engineering or Aviation Technology degree.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Fleet technical records data management.
  • Assist with asset review system control and assessments.
  • Manage and administer the technical specification database and reporting.
  • Input monthly utilization and review component status changes.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of each aircraft by type.
  • Input, maintain and review fleet aircraft specifications and equipment data.
  • Analyzing and updating shop visit events.
  • Assist with MR Claims process.

Job Description

Junior Technical Analyst

The Aviation Advisory team founded in 2016 has since established itself as best in class across its service offerings, growing to a team of 60+ staff in just 8 years. Current client offerings include; aircraft lease management, data migration management, aircraft maintenance reserve reviews, technical aircraft expertise, deal appraisals for investment decision making, and a broad range of accounting and finance offerings to its clients. The team is currently undertaking lease management for a fleet size of approximately 1,400 leases and provides professional services to 13 out of the Top 15 Aircraft Lessors.

The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an entry level technical analyst, who is interested in working within the GT Aviation Lease Services team.

The successful candidate will be joining a team that has gone through significant growth in recent years with ambitious plans to grow the Aviation Lease Services offering.

This is an opportunity for someone with the ability to understand problems quickly to work with the number one provider of Aviation Lease Services to the aircraft leasing industry in Dublin – you will be immersed in the industry with high calibre colleagues.

Fleet technical records data management, documentation updating and control

Assist with asset review system control and assessments

Manage and administer the technical specification database and reporting

Input monthly utilization and review component status changes

Maintain up to date technical knowledge of each aircraft by type

Input maintain and review fleet’s aircraft specifications, aircraft technical information, equipment data and specifications

Analyzing and updating shop visit events

Assist with MR Claims process

Job Requirements

Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Technology Degree or Equivalent

Detail-Orientated and organized

Meet deadlines and be able to prioritize

Must be diligent, thorough, numerate with a keen attention to detail

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook

Previous experience of working in aviation is a distinct advantage
