Grassland Agro in the Galway region is seeking a Technical Sales Advisor – Agronomist to support farmers with soil conditioning, fertilisers and mineral supplements. You will build relationships with farmers, co-ops and merchants, delivering technical advice and driving local sales.

The role combines field-based advisory with sales targets, offering a salary with performance bonuses and an uncapped commission, plus a company car and tech tools.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in agricultural or related industries.
• Ability to provide practical technical advice to farmers.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients in the agricultural sector.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local co-ops and merchants.
• Provide technical advice on our soil conditioning and fertiliser range.
• Promote products at trade shows and industry events.
• Collaborate with team to hit sales targets and identify opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
