Job summary

Grassland Agro in Galway region seeks a Technical Sales Advisor – Agronomist to advise and sell soil conditioning, fertilization and mineral supplements to farmers via local co-ops and merchants. You will build relationships with clients and co-ops, and deliver technical support on our sustainable soil program.

The role emphasizes field sales, technical guidance, and collaboration with the team to meet growth targets. Driving licence is required and a company car is provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or related field.
• Commercial knowledge and advisory sales experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients in the agricultural industry.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local co-ops and merchants.
• Provide technical advice and support to farmers regarding our range of products and soil sustainability program.
• Attend trade shows and other industry events to promote the company's products and services.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
