Job summary

Corlann – West Region is seeking a Team Leader (SCL/CNM1 grade) for BEO Services, Galway City & County. The role focuses on day-to-day management of a community-based, person-centred service for adults with intellectual disabilities, ensuring outcomes reflect the organisation’s values.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in ID support, management experience, and CORU/NMBI registration or eligibility, with a full driving licence. This is a permanent, pensionable post with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• A relevant 3rd level qualification in Social Care or Health Sector and CORU or NMBI registration.
• Live Register Certificate from NMBI or Social Care registration status.
• Experience of managing and supervising a staff team.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the service and provide leadership at a local level.
• Ensure the service is delivered on a person-centred basis and aligned with core values.
• Supervise staff, stay updated with policy and legislation relevant to intellectual disability services.
• Lead in goal setting and programme implementation.
