Job summary

Focus Ireland is seeking a Team Leader for Georges Hill Long Term Accommodation in Dublin. You will lead and support the case management team, using a trauma-informed approach, and help develop the service in line with organisational aims.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with external agencies, and active participation in management meetings. You will provide supervision, support staff development, and ensure high standards of reporting, policy adherence, and KPI delivery

Qualifications

  • Relevant third-level qualification at degree level in social care, psychology, sociology or CORU registered.
  • Experience of holding a leadership role.
  • Experience of needs assessment, effective support-planning, and case management models.
  • Experience of service planning and development.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • A high level of computer literacy.
  • Ability to work dynamically with compassion and dedication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the case management team within Georges Hill Long Term Accommodation.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and supervision to staff.
  • Cultivate and sustain high quality relationships with external agencies as part of multi-disciplinary teamwork.
  • Attend and participate in weekly management and team meetings.
  • Nurture community integration in the Long Term Supported Accommodation project.
  • Engage in supervision sessions on a regular basis with the Project Leader.
  • Participate in relevant training and development courses as agreed with your Project Leader.
  • Be vigilant to Health, Safety and Welfare risks in the workplace.
  • Assist the Project Leader to maintain, develop and support team performance, morale and motivation.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports and other relevant statistics to a high standard for the Project Leader.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Project Leader, Manager, or Director of Services.
  • Uphold Focus Ireland values and adhere to policies and procedures; participate in project and agency sub-groups.
  • Ensure successful implementation of housing policies and procedures in collaboration with the Project Leader and Services Manager.
  • Ensure KPIs are met in line with Service Level Agreements.
  • Facilitate Service Evaluations and reviews in conjunction with the Project Leader.

Team Leader, Georges Hill Long Term Accommodation, Dublin
Location: Dublin
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

The purpose of this roles it to lead and support the team in the case management of Georges Hill Long Term Accommodation, and to assist with the management and development of George’s Hill LTA.

What you will do:
  • Work within the framework of the overall aims and objectives of Focus Ireland.

  • Using a trauma informed lens, provide effective daily leadership to the case management support team.

  • Provide effective and creative leadership, support, guidance and supervision to staff members.

  • Cultivate and sustain high quality relationships with external agencies and other relevant Focus Ireland services as part of multi-disciplinary teamwork.

  • Attend and participate in weekly management and team meetings.

  • In conjunction with the Project Leader nurture community integration in the Long Term Supported Accommodation project.

  • Engage in supervision sessions on a regular basis with the Project Leader.

  • Participate in relevant training and development courses as agreed with your Project Leader.

  • Be vigilant to any Health, Safety and Welfare risks in the workplace.

  • Assist the Project Leader to maintain, develop and support team performance, morale and motivation in line with all policies and procedures; ensure staff carry out their professional duties to standards of best practice.

  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports and other relevant statistics to a high standard for the Project Leader; ensure records and recording systems are maintained in accordance with legislation and Focus Ireland policies.

  • Undertake any other responsibilities and duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Project Leader, Manager, or Director of Services.

  • Uphold and role model the values of Focus Ireland and adhere to the organisation’s policies and practice procedures and where beneficial participate in relevant project and agency sub-groups.

  • Ensure successful implementation of housing policies and procedures in collaboration with the Project Leader and Services Manager.

  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators are met in line with Service Level Agreements.

  • Facilitate Service Evaluations and reviews in conjunction with the Project Leader.
