Job summary

Barden in Cork is seeking a Team Lead to partner with a portfolio of clients, lead a small team of account managers, and handle accounts, payroll and day-to-day finance queries.

You will drive improvements in client experience and processes, act as the first escalation for AML and complex client issues, and support performance reviews with constructive feedback.

• Experience leading, training, or mentoring a team.
• Accounting experience, including financial statements and statutory filings.
• Solid Irish payroll experience.
• Background in client service or customer experience.
• Organised and accurate in a fast-paced environment.

Barden is delighted to be working with a well-established, Irish-owned business in Cork as they look to hire a Team Lead. This role blends people leadership with hands-on client work, in a smaller organisation where you will see the impact of what you do. You will lead and develop a team of account managers while looking after your own portfolio of clients, covering accounts, payroll, and day-to-day finance queries.

It suits an accounting professional with Irish payroll experience who is ready to lead a team, or who has started to already.
