Our client, a Big 4 firm based in Dublin 2, is expanding its Financial Services tax team and is seeking a Tax Senior Manager with specialist Insurance sector experience to join at a pivotal point in the team's growth.

This is an opportunity to work with some of the largest and most complex names in the Irish and international insurance market, while building a genuine platform for progression within one of the world's leading professional services firms.

Key responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of Insurance sector clients, delivering tax compliance and advisory services across life, non-life and reinsurance business. Advising clients on complex technical issues, including cross-border transactions and the evolving international tax landscape as it applies to the insurance industry. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, building and maintaining senior relationships across the sector. Leading, mentoring and developing Managers, Assistant Managers and Seniors within the team. Managing the commercial aspects of your portfolio, including WIP, billing and resourcing. Identifying opportunities for additional work with existing clients and contributing to new business development. Working closely with colleagues across Audit, Advisory and Legal to deliver a joined up service to Insurance clients.

About you

ACA, ACCA and CTA or equivalent qualified. Strong post qualification experience in a financial services tax environment, with specific expertise in the Insurance sector. A proven track record managing complex client relationships and leading teams. Strong technical knowledge combined with sound commercial judgement. Ambitious and motivated to progress within a Big 4 environment.
