Northern Trust in Ireland is seeking a Tax Analyst to join the Custody Tax Operations team. You will handle international withholding tax processing and respond to tax inquiries from internal and external clients with accuracy and timeliness.
Reporting to the Team Manager, you will interface with sub-custodians and other bank areas, assist with ad-hoc projects, prepare client reporting, and maintain tax information for assigned accounts while using various group software systems.

As part of the Custody Tax Operations team, the Tax Analyst is at the centre of the International withholding tax processing. Reporting to the Team Manager, responsibilities will be to ensure all tax related inquiries received from both internal and external parties are responded to in an accurate and timely manner and a focus to continually improve the service offered to clients.
Tax and/or accounting knowledge usually acquired through related work experience or coursework is an advantage. Analytical and Microsoft Office skills are required to assist in responding to queries and preparing reporting. Demonstrated client servicing capabilities and excellent communication skills. Must be resilient to pressure and have the ability to adapt quickly. Accuracy and attention to detail at all times. Ability to work within a team environment.
