Job summary

HRM Search Partners is assisting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation in recruiting a Tactical Planner to join the Supply Chain and Planning team. The role focuses on developing and executing tactical supply plans across a 0-24-month horizon, ensuring customer demand is met through capacity planning, inventory management and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Supply Chain Management and substantial experience in supply chain, logistics, and S&OP

Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics and/or supply management.
  • Experience with capacity planning, S&OP, inventory management and forecast alignment.
  • SAP experience; APO experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of planning master data and PO management.

Responsibilities

  • Own tactical capacity and supply planning across a 0-24-month horizon for one or more Patient Solutions, CMOs or manufacturing sites.
  • Ensure alignment between budget, forecast, demand and site or CMO capacity.
  • Lead and support Site and S&OP capacity meetings, monitoring execution and follow-up on key decisions.
  • Integrate engineering downtime, maintenance, upgrades and lifecycle activities into the site capacity planning model.
  • Manage critical supply events by coordinating resolution activities and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain planning master data, monitor planning alerts and initiate actions to resolve shortages, stock risks and capacity constraints.
  • Support scenario planning, "what-if" analyses and root cause investigations relating to recurring delivery deviations.
  • Contribute to lifecycle management activities including technology transfers, shelf-life planning, phase-in/phase-out, artwork changes and new product introductions.
  • Ensure all planning activities are carried out in accordance with the company's Quality Management System and cGxP requirements.

Working closely with Production, Procurement, Quality and external partners, the successful candidate will play a key role in balancing global demand and supply while supporting a robust and compliant supply network.

Experience
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent industry experience.
  • Significant experience within supply chain, logistics and/or supply management.
  • Experience with capacity planning, S&OP processes, inventory management and forecast alignment.
  • Experience using SAP; APO experience would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of planning master data, purchase order management and collaboration with CMOs and manufacturing sites.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Process-oriented, accountable and comfortable managing ambiguity while solving complex supply chain challenges.
