Job summary

AECOM invites ambitious electrical engineers to join its Transmission and Distribution team in Ireland, delivering grid-scale power infrastructure from concept through energisation on high-profile projects. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to impact the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering design consultancy experience on transmission and distribution projects.
• Working knowledge of BS and Eurocodes for relevant engineering design standards.
• Strong communication to clients, colleagues, stakeholders and sub-contractors.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly and engage with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Join T&D team to work on grid-scale power infrastructure from concept to energisation.
• Contribute to major projects like National Grid's Great Grid Upgrade and EirGrid framework.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers and subcontractors to deliver design consultancy.
• Apply BS/Eurocode standards and communicate technical concepts clearly.
