Job summary

Jones Engineering in Cork is seeking a Transmission and Distribution Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee project development, implementation and completion within the programme. You will work with the Project Management team and coordinate site operations to deliver key milestones and a successful project finish.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years’ site-based construction experience, preferably in energy projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and planning abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Revit is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and liaise with clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgets, schedule, quality and health and safety on projects.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate site operations.
• Liaise with the Client and key stakeholders; tendering and negotiations for new work.
• Review tender submissions and reporting.
• Maintain and develop client relationships.
