Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking a Contracts Manager for Electrical Engineering focused on Transmission & Distribution in Cork. You will manage project development, implementation, and completion, coordinating with the Project Management team to hit milestones and ensure successful delivery.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and liaise with clients and stakeholders while pursuing new work through tenders and negotiations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or Renewable Energy is essential.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar site-based construction role.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Operations Director and Division Director.
• Oversee budgets, schedule, quality and health & safety on projects.
• Manage multiple projects where required.
• Liaise with Client and key project stakeholders.
• Expand business through tendering and negotiating of new work.
• Review tender submissions, valuation preparation and reporting.
• Maintain and develop relationships with Client.
