Qualifications

  • 3rd level qualification in engineering, science, or a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales and Design Teams to develop technical solutions.
  • Assist in tender submissions with Sales and Design teams.
  • Create detailed technical designs, including system schematics, cable schedules, materials requirements, and project documentation.
  • Develop project plans and schedules with Project Management.
  • Oversee installation teams to ensure high-quality installations.
  • Liaise with on-site managers, technical staff, and building contractors as required.
  • Configure broadcast, AV, and IT equipment according to system design and customer requirements.
  • Demonstrate system functions to customers and ensure satisfaction with installation and functionality.
  • Track serial numbers, MAC addresses, firmware, and details of installed equipment.
  • Complete commissioning forms for installed equipment.
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard and request revisits or fixes if required.
  • Advise of any on-site issues and report to the project manager or site manager.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for systems, including potential on-call duties.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Engineer to join Creative Technology Ireland. This is a hands-on technical role where you\'ll collaborate closely with Sales, Design, and Project Management teams to deliver high-quality broadcast and AV solutions for a wide range of clients. You\'ll be involved in the full project lifecycle—from technical design and tender support through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing technical support. This role would suit someone who is passionate about AV and broadcast technologies, enjoy problem-solving, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sales and Design Teams: Develop technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Tender Submissions: Assist in completing tender submissions with the Sales and Design teams.
  • Technical Design Development: Create detailed technical designs, including system schematics, cable schedules, materials requirements, and project documentation.

  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support for systems as required, including potential ‘on-call’ duties.
Required
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3rd level qualification in engineering, science, or a technical discipline—or equivalent hands-on experience.
Desirable
  • AVIXA certification or similar AV systems qualification.
  • Networking certifications such as CCNA.
  • Experience in broadcast engineering, AV integration, or similar technical fields.
