Job summary

NEP Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced AV Systems Engineer in Ireland to lead design and installation work for complex audio-visual projects. The role requires expertise in AV system design, installation, IT networking, and project collaboration across PMO and sales teams.

You will develop system layouts, provide technical support during tender stages, and assist with cabling, IP networks, and drawings. This is a fixed-term maternity leave cover based in CT Ireland.

Qualifications

Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical engineering degrees.
AVIXA CTS-D/CTS-I certification.
Safe Pass and manual handling.
AutoCAD or Stardraw for diagrams.
Basic programming/configuration of control systems.

Responsibilities

Be an expert in AV installation and operation.
Design and draw system layouts/configurations for tenders/projects.
Provide technical expertise to Sales when scoping a project.
Source hardware solutions to meet project designs.
Provide cabling schedules, labeling, and IP network tables.
Collaborate with PMO, installation, commissioning, pre/post sales teams.
Support the Technical Director in design aspects and during leave.
Attend site visits to gather information or explain designs.

To be an expert in technical aspects of Audio-visual installation and operation in CT Ireland
To help design and draw system layouts/configurations for tenders and projects, including mechanical and electrical drawings.
To provide technical expertise to the Sales Representatives when scoping a project.
To help source hardware solutions to meet project designs.
To work with Project Management Office, Install Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Pre, and Post Sales Tech when clarifications or design updates are required.
To support the Technical Director in all design aspects and to backup during times of leave
Attend site visits when required to gather more information for the design or help Sales Representatives explain technical aspects of the designs.
