Job summary

Nepgroup is seeking a skilled AV engineering professional for a fixed-term maternity cover in the Dublin region. The role focuses on expert AV design, tender layouts, and installation coordination, with close collaboration to sales and project teams.

You will develop drawings, provide technical guidance, and source hardware to meet project requirements, including cabling and IP networking details. Site visits and documentation are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical engineering degrees.
AVIXA CTS-D/CTS-I certification or equivalent.
Experience in AV system design and installation.
Experience with IT networking/infrastructure within AV projects.

Responsibilities

Be expert in technical aspects of AV installation and operation.
Help design and draw system layouts/configurations for tenders/projects.
Provide technical expertise to Sales during scoping.
Source hardware solutions to meet project designs.
Provide cabling schedules, labeling, and IP network tables.
Collaborate with PMO, Install/Commissioning Engineers, and Sales teams.
Support Technical Director in design aspects and backup during leave.
Attend site visits to gather information and explain designs.

Main Responsibilities

To be an expert in technical aspects of Audio-visual installation and operation in CT Ireland
To help design and draw system layouts/configurations for tenders and projects, including mechanical and electrical drawings.
To provide technical expertise to the Sales Representatives when scoping a project.
To help source hardware solutions to meet project designs.
To provide cabling schedules, cable labeling, IP network tables.
To work with Project Management Office, Install Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Pre, and Post Sales Tech when clarifications or design updates are required.
To support the Technical Director in all design aspects and to backup during times of leave
Attend site visits when required to gather more information for the design or help Sales Representatives explain technical aspects of the designs.
