Job summary

Scottish Swimming is seeking a Swimming Teacher to join an established team, delivering the Learn to Swim programme across multiple venues with the support of Lead Swimming Teachers and a Swimming Co-ordinator.

This role is central to the practical delivery of the programme, helping ensure high standards, safety and consistency in lessons, and aligning with the Scottish Swimming Framework to meet nationally recognised guidelines.

Qualifications

• Swimming Teacher role within Learn to Swim programme.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Learn to Swim programme across venues as part of an established team.
• Support the delivery with Lead Swimming Teachers & Coaching Coordinator.
• Help ensure standards and practical delivery align with the Scottish Swimming Framework.

Job description

As a Swimming Teacher you’ll be a part of an established team, working within a team of teachers with the support of Lead Swimming Teachers & Swimming Co-ordinator. Our Swimming Teachers plays a vital role in the successful delivery of our Learn to Swim programme across all venues and are integral to ensuring the programme is a success and will be key in the practical delivery of the programme. Glasgow Sport delivers the Scottish Swimming Framework ensuring the programme meets nationally recognised standards.
