Job summary

Woodie’s is seeking an Administration–ESG support role to drive sustainability data collection and reporting across our supplier network. You will collaborate with Sustainability and Category teams to ensure ESG data accuracy, and assist in coordinating compliance with EUDR, CBAM, PPWR and ESPR.

The role requires strong communication, data analysis, and Excel/Power BI skills, with hybrid on-site work at Tallaght, Ireland. You will play a key part in advancing our sustainability targets.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administration roles with organizational skills.
  • Sustainability/ESG admin experience preferred in retail or related sectors.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers for data collection and verification.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn; comfortable navigating changing challenges.
  • Prior knowledge of sustainability and driving improvements is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sustainability & Category teams with day-to-day ESG data collection and reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ensure product compliance with key sustainability regulations (EUDR, CBAM, PPWR, ESPR).
  • Coordinate with Supplier ESG teams to gather data for ESG reporting and compliance.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights for internal stakeholders and keep teams informed.

  • Experience in a previous administration role.
  • Relevant or transferrable work experience in Sustainability/ESG administration, preferably within a retail or related industry.
  • Has experience working collaboratively with suppliers or external partners for data collection and verification.
  • Have good analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Is adaptable, continuously learning and can navigate changes and new challenges effectively.
  • Has a prior knowledge of sustainability and a drive to improve the business’s sustainability performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • This role is essential in supporting the Sustainability & Category teams with the day-to-day data collection and reporting on Environmental, Social and Governance policies which contribute to our business delivering on its commitments to sustainability targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, Category teams and the Sustainability team to ensure effective collaboration on ESG initiatives.
  • Ensure product compliance with key sustainability regulations, including EUDR, CBAM, PPWR and the ESPR.
  • Act as the point of contact in collaboration with Supplier ESG teams to gather relevant data required for ESG reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Translate complex data and regulations onto clear insights for internal stakeholders and ensure commercial teams are aware of and up to date on the key sustainability issues impacting their products and suppliers.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organisational skills and a passion to work and influence within a team environment.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work, capable of meeting deadlines and engage with various stakeholders. Ability to collate and analyse data utilising MS Excel, Power BI or other solutions.

Familiarity with EU standards and regulations would be advantageous.

Proficient communication in English, written and spoken
