Job summary
Ashford, Co. Wicklow-based Support Worker role (Residential) in Ireland. 16 hours per week minimum, with shifts including evenings, weekends and waking night duty.
QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification is essential, with a strong emphasis on person-centred support. Full, clean driving licence is desirable for service vehicle duties. Qualifications
- Full QQI level 5 Health Care Qualification is essential.
- Passion for providing person-centred support is key to success in the role.
- Willingness to work shifts on a rota basis including evenings and weekends and waking night duty shifts.
- Permission to work in Ireland essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities and routines including personal care.
- Support the person to engage in their community.
- Help the person learn new skills.
- Support the person to understand their rights and help them make their own decisions.
