Job summary

Autism A Chara in Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, is seeking a Support Worker to join our residential service. This full-time position (39 hours per week) supports people with complex needs, delivering person-centred care and planning with Key Worker guidance.

We offer development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including education support, pension, sick pay, generous annual leave and a bike-to-work scheme. The role requires QQI Level 5 Health/Care and a full Irish driving license.

Qualifications

• A full QQI level 5 major award in Health/Care is essential
• Awareness of Key Worker/ Support Worker Role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs
• Programme Planning Person Centred Plans
• Availability to work shifts on a rota basis including evenings and weekends and waking night duty shifts
• Full, clean Irish drivers licence (manual) essential with requirement to drive service vehicles
• Permission to work in Ireland essential
