Job summary

Autism A Chara is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a respite service in Gorey, Co. Wexford. You will provide person-centred support, assist with daily living activities and help clients engage with their community.

The ideal candidate holds a QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification, is willing to work a rota including evenings, weekends and night shifts, and has a full Irish driving licence. Permission to work in Ireland is essential.

Qualifications

• A full QQI level 5 Health Care qualification is essential.
• Awareness of Key Worker/ Support Worker Role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs.
• Programme planning and person-centred plans experience.
• Availability for rota shifts including evenings, weekends and waking night duty shifts.
• Full, clean Irish driving licence required to drive service vehicles.
• Permission to work in Ireland is essential.
