Nua Healthcare Limited in Clondalkin, Dublin, Ireland is seeking compassionate Assistant Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals using our residential, supported living and community services. Training and development opportunities are provided, with a 24/7 rosters system to meet service needs.

The role emphasizes enabling individuals to achieve independence, participate in local communities, and reach personal goals within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; comprehensive training provided.
• Experience in a support role is desirable but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A full driving licence is required, or candidates must be actively working towards obtaining one.
• Flexibility to work across a range of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with planning and managing their daily activities and routines.
• Providing support to individuals while accessing and participating in their local community.
• Assisting individuals with education, skills development, and achieving their personal goals and outcomes.
• Supporting individuals to develop and maintain independent living skills, including cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and maintaining family and social connections.
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of, and adhering to, all Company policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
• Working flexible shift patterns across a 24-hour, 7-day service to meet the needs of the individuals supported.
